Dali donated to Goodwill fetching a good deal online
Sherry Lucas of The Clarion-Ledger recently covered the Dali print that came through the doors of Goodwill of Mississippi!
The limited edition lithograph “Dream Passage” by the prominent Spanish surrealist artist was donated to Goodwill of Mississippi some months back. “We’ve actually had it for a while,” said J.D. Martin, vice president of human resources and e-commerce at Goodwill of Mississippi. Some online research revealed retail sales in the $5,000 to $10,000 range, and appraisal averaging $9,950, he said. It’s numbered 139/700, includes a letter of authenticity and its original heavy canvas portfolio. “Perfect shape. It’s beautiful. I’ve been here seven or eight years, and it’s the first time I’ve seen anything like that, so we’re really proud of it,” Martin said.
