The Grand Re-Opening of our Goodwill Jacksonian Plaza location on March 6th was an incredible success, thanks to the overwhelming support from our community.
Over 80 people lined up before doors opened, and more than 800 customers shopped throughout the day. The excitement was evident as shoppers explored the remodeled store, featuring an updated shopping experience, improved donation drive-thru, and a brand-new Career Center to better serve our community. The retail store is so much more than a place to shop, its Goodwill's mission in action.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership, with participation from the Rankin County Chamber, Flowood Chamber, Ridgeland Chamber, and Pearl Chamber. We were also honored to have elected officials present and so many of our Goodwill Board Members and Goodwill Ambassadors in attendance, showing their continued support for our mission.
We are truly grateful for the encouragement and enthusiasm from everyone who joined us. This event was more than a celebration of a remodeled space—it was a reflection of the impact Goodwill has on Central Mississippi. The community’s support allows us to continue transforming lives through lifelong learning and meaningful work.
