Goodwill of Mississippi is proud to announce the appointment of Steve McCartney as its first-ever Director of Learning and Development. This newly created role underscores Goodwill’s ongoing commitment to transforming lives through lifelong learning and meaningful work.
A lifelong Mississippian, McCartney brings more than 26 years of experience in education, including 11 years in administrative leadership. With a proven track record of developing people and programs, McCartney is excited to apply his expertise to advance Goodwill’s mission and invest in Central Mississippi communities.

As Director of Learning and Development, McCartney will focus on creating and implementing impactful training initiatives that help employees achieve sustainable career success, both within and outside of the organization. This role represents Goodwill’s dedication to expanding workforce development opportunities and fostering long-term growth for individuals in the communities it serves throughout Central Mississippi.
